christmas holiday yay

Ah the sweet nectar of vacation.  A rainy cooler week with the weather coming from the Antarctic.  It warmed up and cleared up for beers at work Friday at lunch and off to sweet nothing.  The shot below is Luca at school with a few kids.  

Merry holidaze and good wishes to you all.  

The midwife, Fiona, is most excellent.  She is part of a crack team of mid-wives here in Wellington.

Dawn. Facing East.  From the roof.   Two perspectives:  I move like a stealth cat on the roof at dawn but Kelly seems to think I move louder.  

27 degrees and humid.  A touch of breeze.  Nothing to do today in a perfect way so I followed Luca around with the camera.

A couple hooks up for the hippy baby bed...  

More and more Luca plays by himself (sans mum and dad) for long stretches.  Talking and singing and making his "stories".   

It rained a little early evening and we barbecued under the umbrella.  Bath day, books and then bed.  Ciao!

Some of the gardening we have done in our lives is paying off...  broccoli, carrots, chard, spinach, beets, celery, corn, peas, strawberries, beans, tomatoes, lettuce and rhubarb.   The birds are eating all our strawberries but there aren't any slugs.
